What is Ethan’s Work?
It is a semi-ephemeral sound system. Flexible, configurable, somewhat portable. Analog, digital, and hybrid workflows possible. Pristine microphone preamps, and colorful ones. Plenty of microphones for capturing a wide range of sources. Really high-quality conversion from analog to digital and digital to analog, with an abundance of inputs and outputs. Nice honest monitors. Otari 1/2″ tape machines for tracking, mixing, and signal processing as desired. Analog mixer, or not. And an engineer who can stay out of your way and make everything… work.
